Before using the 8B API, you must obtain API credentials (login and password) from our Support team. This page describes how to request access, and how credentials are managed across environments.
Getting API Credentials
Before using the 8B API, you must obtain API credentials (login and password) from our Support Team. These credentials are required to generate an access token and authenticate your requests.
Requesting Credentials
To receive your API credentials, please contact our Support Team during the contracting phase. Credentials are not self-generated and will be issued after your organisation is onboarded.
Environment-Specific Credentials
Please note that credentials differ between sandbox and production environments. You will be issued separate credentials for each:
- Sandbox credentials are used for testing your integration in a safe environment.
- Production credentials are used for live payment processing and must be handled securely.
Store your credentials securely and do not share them publicly or commit them to version control systems.
